I've always felt bad for them too, I think they're bred purposely because they make popular pets.
I can just imagine why.
"Mom can I bring my friends over to see the goat?"
"Hey..watch.. just watch this.."
"Oh cool let me! let me! ?"
Maybe i just have too vivid an imagination..
