I feel immediately defeated when I receive them and delete them before I read them in their entirety. I am so sure to disappoint.
Is it the depression speaking, or my nature to not believe in Luck? (Too many years of watching my parents spend the rent or mortgage money on lottery tickets has colored my views, it seems. Talk about a Trigger.)
So, no, I don't pass on chain mail letters or even read them, no matter what the promises are.
