terror

Posted by paxvox59 on December 10, 2008, at 17:42:11

Hey guys! I'm really feeling miserable right now. Went to see about a job (fast food place)and I think that it would be much too hectic for me right now. trouble is, I'm staying with my bro and sis-in-law, and they don't understand what I'm feeling. I mean, I DO want a job, but I believe that my sanity (and staying off drugs/alcohol) has to come before anything else. I'm trying to tell them that my feeling of terror is a REAL thing, and that it makes me have trouble coping. I don't want to appear like a deadbeat either, which is why I went to check this job out in the first place (it isn't a place I WOULD ever have gone to for a job). I know my limitations, and I feel very fragile just now, but how can I get them to understand this w/o just seeming to be "afraid" of some hard work?
My chest is SO tight, and my heart pounding. I guess it is anxiety driving my emotions.
