Hi Kath,
I love my animals, too. I have a dog and a cat. My dog is about 12 years old. Most of the time, she frisky and playful like a pup, but it seems like every couple months she's been getting sick with a gastrointestinal thing. She just got over one. Today she's back to her old self again. She part australian shepherd, part black lab. She's extremely devoted, affectionate, sweet and loving. I love her so, so much. Our cat is great, too. He's like a buddha. Nothing phases him. Like many cats, he's more on the aloof side.
