Over here in the UK Marmite is one of those things you either love or hate.I don`t know if you get Twiglets over there, but marmite has the same taste.It is said that its good for the hair on your head, and helps prevent men from going bald,( don`t laugh but when some one said this on the radio,some men thought they had to rub it into their scalp).
I like Twiglets , but can`t stand Marmite,weird.
Also over here they have Marmite on toast for breakfast, I`ve not heard of it being used in stews etc though,but I do know it doesn`t have a long shelf life.
My brother who lives in Florida love it, don`t know if is good for your collestrol levels. Also some people spread it on crackers.
