Well I know they are from Canada. But we almost did a we get the mortagage on their model house and we take a mortgage on ours paid for and we then rent it to them for a year. And in turn we get $20,000 in our incentives upgrades. Started out with them only having a copy of the contract and the price by quote about $187,000. Well the VP got involved and mind you we have no copies in hand of our own and now the price goes to over $220,000 and the choices incentives are theirs. They had a check for $2,500 of ours and we stopped payment on it. They would have rented our hourse technically for a model and then given us 30 days to sell one or the other hence why we got out the high price the not giving us paperwork copies. So I'm wondering if their reputation is as Great as they say it is in Canada? We were going to build a three bedroom one up with 2.5 bathrooms. Thanks if you should know anything. This purely for our peace of mind hoping to hear we did the right thing backing out and stopping payment on our check. Thanks Phillipa
