As I understand it not all religions make the same big deal over faith that the monotheistic ones do (Judaism excepted??).
There's a saying somewhere about finding a belief system that does not require you to believe five impossible things before breakfast.
Actually, I think that Catholicism here has become something like that, in the sense that they have ceased to find it crucial that they cannot sincerely say the Nicene Creed.
So my advice would be to find a religion that does not make such a big deal about faith, because religion is much more than faith.
I really doubt that Thai Buddhists care whether they believe or not.I read recently something along the lines of..... 'Atheism is a Christian heresy of the intellectually less subtle sort' ("Black Mass" by John Gray) which brought Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens to mind.
