> Yeah, that's a great idea Pat. I already have all the gear, so it's just a case of waiting for a fine day. I used to take photos as a hobby and I'd like to capture the morning and evening light around the countryside here. I smashed my old camera a while ago, but I've been saving up for a new one. I'm going for a digital SLR this time. I don't intent to become a professional, so I don't really need one so advanced, but I'm thinking maybe of doing a photography course to get the most out of it. This is the one I've got my heart set on, but I'm not sure what package to go for: http://www.camerabox.co.uk/product1.asp?ProductID=3092&gclid=CKyprsrCiJMCFQ1rMAodkEpjYQ

Sounds good to me. OPS system will very helpful. As I've "matured", I've noticed a bit of a shake now and then. It really annoys me when I see that the photograph isn't sharp. I think you're getting a good camera.
If you were nearby, maybe I could teach you something about photography. That is supposed to be my "art".....
The camping spot made me gasp! That is absolutely gorgeous. You've got it all there, hills, meadow, water and cattle. Reminds me of the Califronia coast north of San Francisco. Rock On!!!!
We'll have to compare experiences.
My first "mini" trip will be next weekend. Saturday is my birthday and my family and I are going to a delightful little cove in a lake up by Georgetown. An old homestead, lilacs, old fences, cement foundation lines....irises....all the things that tell you that something special happened there a long time ago.
xoxo pat
