For my IPOD, I use Itunes to download music.
download it here:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Install it on your computer, set up an account and you can download songs (99 cents) and a whole bunch of other stuff too.
You can also use the software to rip music off of cds or burn new cds.
Any other questions just ask.
