I was talking a few nights ago with a friend of mine, who was a somewhat 15 minute luck of fame artist here in Canada in the late '90's. He now has the same Dx as I do, BP2 with major anxiety and depressive characteristics. He wrote a song in 1997 called "Apparitions".
I remember the day this video was being filmed, as I had crashed into a 2 year straight binge of pure depression...no time up for air. It was also so sadly the day Princess Diana died for nothing, in Paris. Matt was still going untreated at the time for his mental illness, but this song is SO haunting, as bad as my times where, I had felt connection to what Matt was saying. The video is set in a business high-rise, and from the view of a janitor, it's shows all of the moral degradation and even a personal story of a suicide of a CEO. Money really can't buy you everything. Here is his award winning video and song:

--Apparitions--
Matthew Good
Say hello
Remain
Close to me
No goodbye suicide mysteryThe rat in your brain
Turns a wheel
Connected to your guts and
All your thoughts are in me,
All your faults in meWhat would you say
If we lived on TV
Besides all the things they told youWe're stuck
Inside our own machine
ApparationsSay hello
Well is it strange
Where you are
Where you used to be kind of free
Are they laughing at youThe rat in your brain
Rules the world
From the comfort of your living room
Tell me are we leaving soonWe're stuck
Inside our own machine
Apparations
