I like the worry writing assignment. I'll suggest another as well.
Take a pencil and in a quiet place, or with soothing music, write "I need some help." And see what the answer is. Often it might be "with what?" and then write that down. Essentially you are constructing a dialogue with a higher power - or the Universe - or your inner self - whatever your particular beliefs are. Try not to edit - write your questions and then the answers.
Once I did this and I had the most intense sense of just handing over my anxiety. I wrote, "I need some help." And the answer I got back was, "OK, then let me."
OK, yeah, kinda weird but it works for me. I seem to find solutions that I haven't come to before.
