Thanks for starting this thread!
Is the spindle a part of a spinning wheel? At first, I thought it was a beautiful little toy that you set to spinning on the floor!
I have been fighting of some virus & also depression since Friday, so haven't much energy.
The nicest thing about my Christmas, I think, (apart from getting the most long, flowing, cozy flannelette nightgown & cozy housecoat)....
My son was at our house Christmas Eve & part of Christmas Day, but as his friend & friend's sister were on their own (Mom had gone away with BF until in the New Year) & they didn't have much food left, as they'd had numerous friends over & the food had dwindled. Anyway, my son had received a 'food box' from the Lions Club & it included a fairly big frozen turkey. He decided on Christmas Eve day, to take the turkey & some other food over to his friend's & to go there on Christmas Day to cook & join his friends for Christmas dinner. As it turned out, the sister went to friends, so my son's friend would have been all alone. It was the first time he'd cooked a turkey & it turned out delicious. I was so proud of him & so pleased at his kindness & thoughtfulness & sensitivity! That was a really nice thing to happen.
Hugs to all, luv, Kath
