Oh, how the time flies...

I don't live here anymore, but I just wanted to stop by to report on the home front. All three of my kids graduated last spring (long story) and I'm pleased to announce that Matthew lives with his girlfriend in their near-North Chicago apartment working as a bartender at Tavern on Rush a swanky place where he makes almost as much as I. Sarah, after a summer of sweating out interviews and rejections, landed a plum first grade teacher job in a school. And Audra works part-time for a plastic surgeon and part-time in a cardiac rehab program in a Wisconsin hospital while waiting to get accepted into the Peace Corps. I guess I must have done something right.
Oh, and Lar, did you see the 7/31/07 "For Better or for Worse" cartoon that featured butter tarts?
