I started Remeron about 8 or 9 weeks ago with the old doctor when the Cymbalta pooped out, and the new pdoc raised the dosage from the starting 15mg to 30mg. It does nothing for anxiety but my depression is improving. For that I'm back to my daily .5mg of xanax, which I have to split or I'll fall right to sleep. .25mg seems to be just right for taking away the heebie jeebies. It's so frustrating to be tired and sleepy from the Remeron and then full of anxiety at the same time. Horrible feeling, really. As if you've pulled an all-nighter and are trying to stay awake at the wheel while driving. Exhausted and hyped up on adrenalin at the same time.
And there's nothing teensy about my bathing suit, Phillipa. I went one piece a long time ago. Thank goodness for Lands End tugless tanks.

Our beaches are pretty good for shells - it depends on the time of year and whether there are storms to bring new ones in. These days my beachcombing is more for the human contributions to the shore, though. I take an empty plastic bag and put on a pair of gloves to pick up rubbish while I walk one way; then dispose of it and enjoy the view on the way back. It works for me and makes me feel like I'm helping save my corner of the planet.
