Hi Phil,
Uh, I've never vacuumed up crickets, but I've let canned crickets (yum, packed in their own juices) get rancid and yikes the smell is not roses I can tell you that. Of course, Spot, my gecko likes live crickets the best and turns up her nose at canned ones most of the time. Nothing like a trip to the pet store every week. I wish you could send some my way. Then again, maybe Spot would like a road trip.
