I haven't seen the movie or Oprah's show about it, but my T went on a rant about it at my last appointment because of a local article in our paper about it. He believes like I do that postive thinking is a good thing, but when you expect things to happen because of it, well my T says it is just b*llshit.(he said it at least 10 times, I asked if I could quote him on that, lol)
He is like should I not wear a seatbelt, because that would be seen as "wanting" an accident to happen? He is like no, I wear my seatbelt because I don't want to die. LOL I had to laugh at him, he was so animated about it.
I believe in some of what they say, but some of it is just trying to create controversy so we buy the book and see the movie I think. I think the idea has been taken a little too far.
