I wonder if your dad might be able to find and join a group like my dad's Cardio Club? He just loves meeting his buddies at at the crack of dawn at the gym now, and they take nutrition/lifestyle/pep-talk classes together, too. They sort of look out for each other, and it's turned into a real social thing.> I want him to be concerned to change his diet etc, but not so concerned as to effect him emotionally.
