Yes,
stress messes up the whole body- mentally and physically.It's almost like little pieces of stress float around in our blood vessels and attack whatever's feeling kind of "fragile"
I'm so sorry you've got the melancholies.
Take care of yourself- hot baths, eat something that feels like it will help you- either healthy food or comfort food. Give your body what it's asking for.
Hydration- very important. Herbal teas, and diluted fruit juices will help you recover.
