I met Billy Barty at his office in California (ok, ok I almost typed Billy F*rty..!) some years back (he died in 2000)...he was a friend of my best friend's husband. He was quite a character, and certainly played in some...uh....interesting movies.... But he loved to tell the best stories about all his TV and film appearances, and he did a ton of charity work. Seemed like a basically nice guy.
BTW, there was no 'passing' of anything involved during the meeting ;-)
