talk about sin city.

Frank Miller did that comic. He changed mainstream comics forever with his Daredevil in the early 80's. When he went independent, he got even better. his work is a big influence on me.

When I first read "Sin City" I realized that someone else was working in the same territory as Andrew Vachss, my favorite author. his "Mask Market" came out last week. You should start at the beginning if you are interested, "Flood".

Robert Rodriquez directed "Sin City" here in texas using some new and minimalistic techniques, and it may not have worked for all as a movie, because he jumped all around "Pulp Fiction" style between 3 different stories, but they didn't add up to one whole. I didn't mind. It worked for me. The Deluxe version is supposed to come out where he tells each story as a whole with added footage. I'll watch that, and can't wait for a theatrical sequel.

revise, I've just spent about 20 minutes trying to make the double quotes feature work for the above post for too damn many minutes.

Daredevil is a Marvel comics character that writer/artist Frank Miller made matter in my early adolescence. you can by reprints of that sh*t at any good comic shop.

Sin City is a series of Graphic Novels and comics that he did a few years later. You can buy that sh*t at any good comic store or on the damn internet.

Pulp Fiction is a damn movie that Tarrentino did in the 90's you know wtf that is and where to buy it.

Sin City is a movie directed by robert rodirguez and produced by QT that you can find in you neighborhood. based on the frank miller comics.

Andrew m*therfucking Vachss is the hardest of the hardboiled writers working today, and you can get his stuff at the goddamned independent bookstore in your city. His material is of special interest to people on this site.

I tried with that amazon link crap but enough is enough.
