Thanks for the advice. I'll try that. And it is funny. I imagine telling some of my former co-workers what she says, and them laughing hysterically (which is exactly what they would do).
For example, an alias is a shortcut you make on the desktop to get to a place on the server. I've never worked anywhere that didn't have the aliases already set up for all the most commonly used places. I usually have the person show me the long way so I'll really know where I'm going. When one lady was going through all the long steps to get somewhere, I asked why she doesn't just use an alias. She said "What's an alias?" Later she was telling me how they recently discovered how when you click on an image in Quark it brings up where it is in Photoshop (this is pretty basic).
The worst was when the girl training me told me I needed a two button (PC) mouse rather than a Mac one. I was like, no-o-o, this will be fine. She insisted again when she couldn't figure out how to work it. Hopefully she'll forget about it.
