G'day TC
The snake reared up, I had a flash of anger but realised that to run over the creature would likely lead to it disappearing into the undercarriage and us being unable to get out of the car. So we stopped and the snake moved on.
At the end of the day everything has to move on these days; I'm waiting for someone to say, 'no bugger it, I will not move on, nor do I have to.'
Tasmania is that island at the bottom of Australia. Down there they have miniature wallabies called potaroos in alpine conditions and nibble on moss. The Tasmanian devil is currently being decimated by a virus. They are badly behaved, but not as bad as us. There was a Tasmanian Tiger, a dingo like marsupial, that is almost certainly extinct.
