I feel kinda bad that I didn't mention that this was a TINY earthquake. We have them pretty frequently, and this one was so very short that it hardly would have registered on me if I hadn't been lying in bed staring at the insides of my eyelids...
Thank you, though, for your concern. It does make me smile.
(Honestly -- the freakiest part of this was the moment of sleepy confusion about whether that really had been an earthquake, if a very large truck had rumbled down the street, or what. My husband -- who is sometimes very silly -- suggested maybe it was only him f--ting in his sleep... If it was, the USGS picked it up on their sensors...)
