ButterTart update

I have had buttertart hot out of the oven

very good

I have had buttertart at room temperature

very good

I have had buttertart slightly chilled

very good

I have had buttertart frozen

the best. Why? because they take longer to eat. And one is less likely to overindulge on these sinful confections.

The essential problem with buttertarts is that of self-control. They taste lovely in your mouth. the flaky pastry, the creamy soft filling. the sweet, the buttery, the slightly caramelized sugars... and so- you want another. and another.

Unfortunately, the stomach does not have a great way of communicating with the mind. It relies on somewhat slower endocrine signals to communicate its growing distress. 15 minutes after the last buttertart. there are consequences. and then guilt.

What's the best medicine for guilt?

BUTTERTART!!!
