I've never had anything with hot fudge sauce (or hot caramel or anything) on it.
It must be nice. Does the sauce go hard due to the cold temp?
I love hot waffles with ice cream between them.
When I was a kid, there used to be an underpass between the Toronto Eaton's & Simpson's stores. Along the underpass, there were 2 places that fascinated me.
1) a donut-making machine. It spat out donut-shaped blobs of dough into a moving stream of hot oil & then they cooked; it flipped them over; the next side cooked; it plopped them into icing, etc. It was fascinating.
2) An ice cream/waffle setup where they heated the waffles, then sliced a square slice of ice cream off a brick & put it between the waffles.
YUM......the ice cream sorta melts & the waffles stay hot. I had forgotten about that. I must buy some waffles & ice cream & treat myself.Kath
