This is a bit like what you (should) do when your kids want a dog.
Kid: I want a dog
Me: Good. I'll give you a potplant, and if it is alive this time next year, you can get a dog.
But I didn't think in time and we got a beagle instead. He is now notified and if caught chasing sheep again we will be fined on a sliding scale eventually reaching A$50,000. He's very nice, but a hard dog to keep on the porch.
