I had a body wrap and a massage for my b-day present last year. It was my first time for both. The body wrap was interesting. They smeared lovely fragrant cream everywhere (but only worked on one section at a time, keeping the rest covered for modesty) and then wrapped me in some kind of film, then in warm towels then a blanket. Definitely not for you if you're super claustrophobic. I felt like a human egg-roll. I had my scalp and shoulders massaged during the body wrap and it was nice.

The massage I had was a traditional Swedish massage with oil. As it turns out, I'm pretty sensitive in my lower back, so I had to give the lady a lot of instructions at first, softer here, harder there, etc etc. by the end, I felt great! If you had to pick one, I'd go for soft muscles over soft skin. enjoy your treat :)

p.s. I never felt exposed. all my bits and pieces were kept under drapes.
