Is it wisdom teeth, TMJ? Could you go to the emergency room or regular MD for pain relief?
I was once able to fix a painful dental situation by using a "home remedy": combination google research and what I could glean from a dental secretary. It wasn't too serious though - a sharp edge on a chipped molar that hurt everytime I bit down. I would tell you what I did but I suppose I shouldn't practice dentistry without a license. If you could be more specific about the problem perhaps someone could advise you or steer you in the right direction.
My daughter had a bad case of TMJ as a teenager and we found help on the internet, in addition to her treatment by a specialist. It's amazing how much help is on the web. In her case, one visit to a really good chiropractor, who worked on her jaw, did more than months of doctor visits. (something to think about)
I hope you can see someone about the pain or get some sort of relief sooner than later.
