This isn't even about anything that happened today. It's been a bad day -- water turned off for plumbing repairs, fire alarm being set off, not enough sleep, etc -- and in the course of standing outside waiting for the fire alarm to be turned off (it's too loud to be inside when it's going off), I chatted with a woman who lives in the complex, who brought up an ongoing issue that I get to hear about every month when the homeowner's association meets...
Bah.
And that was supposed to read "bye now," not "by now."
