Maybe if you had the paralegal training you'd at least be able to get a job in a lawyer's office; that might at least be more interesting & perhaps pay more.
Stay being Poet; not writing poetry doesn't make someone NOT a poet, if you know what I mean.
I'm glad I wondered out of PB2000 too - not much happens there lately & I've been feeling so crappy this last week I've been coming to PB & checking things out. That sounds awful - to come here because I feel crappy & I don't mean it in an insulting way! In 2000, when I first joined, I had just started taking Celexa for anxiety (which, according to my doctor, was caused by depression). I spent a LOT of time here. Over the years, as I was doing better, I tended to not spend as much time on the computer, so to me, signing in here & feeling lonely & wanting to reach out here is a sign of how down I'm feeling.
This has been a hard winter for me. I am dying for colours!!!!! Ontario, Canada, north of Toronto & spring is still not here. We had 2 inches of snow last night!!! Mind you the buds are popping up, so there's hope, but I don't feel hopeful...just blah.
Gotta go right now, but am sorry about your situation. It must feel so discouraging.
Take care, Kath
