Our pets have always been so important to our family. We have two cats and a dog. They are all shelter or rescue animals. Sage and Gillian were older when we got them. Timothy was a kitten when we adopted him. Gillian is the dog. She's a sweet mixed up everything medium sized dog. The cats are Sage and Timothy. Sage is a very girly little girl and Timothy is a wide open boy. They're all neutered, of course. Personality wise, Sage and Gillian have similar temperments. Timothy is our wild child, but can be very sweet - when he chooses to be.
I think pets teach us alot about patience, compassion, caring .... much like our real children. They are our fur children.
