I can turn up the amp, tune up, and go! I can play to anything. I can close my eyes and drift into the notes. I can wring noises out of a six string and a cheap marshall, that only I can make. Just me. Put me with a sympatico friend on guitar or drums, and I'm all up in there. damn.

Hi James...

Well, I am mainly a drummer, but dabble in bass, keys, and very basic guitar. I have a little home studio set up. I am not a great musician...but trying very hard. I belong to a website (it's free) where musicians gather and collaborate. (Using their soundcards onboard their computer and some simple software to record with. I can send you the name of the site...I just don't want to give it out here for anybody 'discovering' who I am there...know what I mean??..heh..silly, I know.) I'd like to post a link of one of my tunes...just still a bit embarrased...ya know? I love tons of music...but one of my 'main' ones over the years has been U2. Likely because they started out as poor musicians but had the *drive* to get their message out there. Maybe I'll post something latter...how about you..what are your influences?

Best,
Jay
