> One of my favourite is 'Budgie Smugglers' a term used to describe blokes swimmers - you might know them as Speedos. Visualising it explains it all ;-)
I love it - Budgie Smugglers. I'm glad you said Speedos because I didn't know what blokes swimmers were either. The only thing I've heard Speedos called was 'banana hammock'. (I hope that's not too risque for babble).
> I remember spending quite a while explaining 'Saving something for Ron' once. A friend was buying something to eat from the shop and I said she "should get another one and save it for Ron." She asked who Ron was and I said "He's my mate." (without thinking) To which she said "oh I didn't we were going anywhere after this, or is he coming over to see you?" So I had to explain that 'Ron' means later on. And that Ron is your mate cause he always comes round later - like mates do. So I thought she should get another in case she felt like one later on.

Wow, I would so not understand you in person I bet. We'd have to communicate through pictures or something. Do you keep your posts easy for us to read? Cause I wouldn't have figured that whole 'Ron' thing out in a million years! Its funny how the same language can evolve so much on different continents.-T
