I know that this should prob. go on parenting, but I know the people here.
There is a little girl at school that has a low self esteem. My daugter tries to include the girl, but the girl refuses to get attention. A while back the little girl was not invited to someone's sleepover. When the girl called to talked to my daughter's friend, her friend said to tell the girl that they were at Wal-mart so that the girl's feelings would not get hurt.
Anyway, they found out that my child was lying and called me, but before they called me they spoke to my daughter and said some hurtful things to her.
Today, the same child went on a rampage because my daughter had put her phone and shoes down on two chairs to save a seat for she and her friend. When they got back to the seat, that girl was there. My child told her friend, well I guess you lost your seat. That girl went to her mom, crying and told her mom.
The mom later calls to talk to my child and says that she was so mad she could hit her.
I told her that she (the mom) had better never threaten to hit my child again and that she and her daughter needed to leave my child alone. I also told her that her husband should never talk to my daughter again either. (Last time he spoke to my daughter). I told them that if they had a problem they needed to talk to me.
Anyway, The whole family called tonight to apologize. They realized that their daughter had not told the whole story. She admitted that my child had her phone and shoes there to save the seat. This was at a function for the kids.
I am glad that the whole family called to apologized. Now I just have tears flowing down my face. I also do not want this to trigger depression in me. I am trying to snap out of it.
I am just so sad.
