Wow. Thank you so much for this image, Annierose. I can absolutely relate and it's a good way to think about it. I don't know how many times I've had to empty out my closet in order to get it reorganized. And there's *always* that moment of saying, "oh my gosh. What have I done? Now, the bedroom's a disaster. How am I ever going to get it back together again?" But I always do and I definitely enjoy the sense of accomplishment and feeling of organization once it's done. Problem is, it always seems to get messy again. Hmm, good case for forever therapy? ;)
