I've been there, and had some good experiences and some bad. The lines are loooooong, the rides are short, the crowds are a hassle. Food is expensive. People shove you. Everything is extra $$$.
If you're OK with crowds, lines, hot sun, sunburnt necks, indigestion, sore feet, blisters, and rides that are not recommended for those who have heart conditions, then go for it! :)
On the other hand, the rides ARE fun. There are gentler rides, too. Some of the sights can be really cool. I know I sounded like I hated it, but it WAS a good time in its own way. I would not go again, unless I was taking a child. For myself, I'm past the stage where it would delight me; I would only take delight in giving the experience to someone who's "ready" for it.
Do you think you're too old physically, or too old "at heart"? They might just love it so much, they assume you will, too.
I think there are fancy hotel-resort things there?
Are you going for sure?
