In reply to Trigger? Maybe?I don't really know what qualifies. » alesta, posted by TexasChic on January 27, 2006, at 19:49:10

hey tc..wuz up girl!:)

> What qualifies as a trigger and what doesn't? Is it any mention of suicide?

um..yeah..oops sorry! i thought about that right after submitting it, and then it was too late...my sincere apologies. i'll definitely try to remember that if i post anything like that again.

> I'm sorry you're depressed. I seem to be in the same boat right now (although I seem to be going through a slight reprieve at the moment). No bridges though. Might as well go out with a good cause like a dangerous mission with Greenpeace or something. Do they have dangerous missions? I've always been facinated by GP but have never found alot of info on them. I've mostly just heard of them by word of mouth. But I digress. (I always wanted to say that).

hmm...i'd have to look into the greenpeace dangerous mission thing:)..not sure. but i like danger, too.:) i totally relate to the digression thing...it gets worse for me the longer i'm here. so digress away!

> I actually thought I was so clever to think to try a Benedryl when I was having a panic attack at work and no Xanax. I figured, well, its sedating, so maybe it will help. It did - not well, but enough to make it tolerable. Like you said, its not anyone's first choice, but its better than feeling like you're having a heart attack!

yes, absolutely.:) it's better than nothin, huh? i'm moving on to something stronger real soon, if i can get my hands on it without having to go to bloody therapy.

> So why are you off the Benedryl anyway? New allergy meds? My doctor said I could take it with my allergy meds, so I use it when I can't sleep. Its the same ingredient in over the counter sleepaids.

yes, new meds, t. i'm now using rhinocort aqua and zyrtec combined. i guess it's working ok. better than just pills, but i've started getting subtle nosebleeds from the rhinocort. (that is supposed to be a rare side effect i think, not sure, so don't let that scare you.) so i'm gonna give it more time and try different methods of using the rhinocort, etc., before i call it quits. i've heard horror stories of deviated septums, don't know if they're true, but am being a little cautious and plan to read up on that.

i'm about to get cut off here...hope you have a great day!

no time to edit..gonna be knocked off...rats@!

take care,:-)
