The pudding was seriously an instant favourite. And... I made it twice. The first time to see if I could make it properly, and taste test it (of course!), and the second time with the toffee sauce poured on. Yum, yum. I couldn't believe how easy it was.
And because I live in the South, they sell self-rising flour so I didn't have to fiddle with the recipe.
p.s. I tried to tell people about Christmas crackers but they seemed to not really care too much so I gave up. They don't know how many bad jokes they are missing out on!
