If you're listening. You get it. Your song, "Little Liar" sums up language for me.
That song cut right through me. Leonard Cohen's early work did that too.
That song made me feel. You and Heidegger changed my life. Yet in the end, "Being and Time" is a mere exercise in philosophy compared to "Little Liar". You know what I'm talking about Martin.
I hinge all my beliefs - I pause when I look over the rainbow or scan the field of dreams (afterall I'm in Iowa) turning, twisting, maybe falling, injuring myself, getting back up - on the frailty of language.
This song touched me. This song should be taught in public schools. This song should be arrested. This song hurts me long time.
