I was in Trafalgar Square for this..
It was.. well.. unfortunately, my over riding feeling is one of anger at the press.. they were *so* intrusive.. My tears finally started to come, I was alone on a step, and was finally facing it all.. When all of a sudden, a close up of my crying face was being shown on the big screen and beamed around the world. It was no longer a private moment of grief.. I felt terrible..
The press were EVERYWHERE.. there must have been 200 or more of them.. Taking close ups of people in tears.. trying to interview people *during* the service. They completely ruined it for me, and I do feel anger over it.But hey, if you go to the "photos" report from your link, you can see me on the steps at Trafalgar Square (me and 500 others though! Bottom left, orange t-shirt and green zip up top)
