apparently it does matter how big ones hands are in this class... If I were to go buy a motorcycle, I'd buy one with adjustable clutch and front brake levers to allow for my tiny hands but the ones supplied to us in class were non-adjustable...
I lasted through the whole 5 hr class (barely hanging on to complete the exercises) until the very last "pull in" to end the class before my hands just cramped up, I miss the brake, my hands slipped down onto the throttle which made me go even faster- I was heading for the rest of the class (who were at a stop), so I had to jerk over to the right and fell over with the bike on top of me... I have a bum knee now...don't think I could perform in the second class next Sunday even if I wanted to!
S says I'd be better off getting my own bike that fits me and learning on my own before attempting another class like that... It seemed very advanced for someone who barely knew how to work the controls (much less work them while swerving around road course cones!!!). I'm not sure if I wouldn't prefer to just stay on the backs of bikes at this point...but I can't say I didn't try, I guess!
Now it's your turn to do something wild and crazy...
