composting is fantastic for the planet. compost piles require attention to properly breakdown organic material. looking at a pile some can even tell what the original organic matter was during the process of transforming to manure.......but more often than not people don't care what makes sh*t as long as the end result is sh*t.

even though we didn't as it is good to hear from a gardening/recycling/composting expert on such matters. thx!

too many vermin in our garden to compost...they even got into the black boxes and tumbler barrel composters. it is a shame watching kitchen scraps go to landfill when they could be helping next year's crops.
