Unfortunately, despite my greatest efforts, I have ended up crying and sobbing at work whether I liked it or not. (quite a few times I guess) I try to hide it, but SOMEBODY always seems to notice. and not just a graceful tear, but full on hyperventilating, messy, sloppy, downright unpretty crying.
Is it wrong?- I certainly don't think so.
Is it wrong to have everyone know you cried?- I don't think so.But the question that strikes me is:
Does it suck sometimes to have people know you're upset?-absolutelyHopefully these people will be supportive or something close to accepting of difficult emotions. It's quite impossible to leave your life or emotions outside the door when you walk into work. Oh how I wish I could!! You never quite know how people will react to you, sometimes it's surprising in a good way when people can appreciate your humanity.
I hope all is well Angela.PS I'd give you a nice cup of tea and extra soft tissues and extra break time. :-)
