And because I can't take back what I've said even if I say "I shouldn't have said that", the fact is there're women who have them who might feel insecure about them from reading stuff like that, which wouldn't be good for them.. so I hope some good might come of what I've said if it makes others who're thinking about it, make sure it's what they need. Because it makes mammograms a lot harder to read.. and besides vanity, that's another really good reason not to get them. Although I've heard the saline ones are easier to read through. Silicone completely blocks the view of breast tissue, it's like a big black spot and nothing else, and if a woman thinks mammos might be important for her at some point in her life, she's blocking out the best possibility of an early diagnosis by getting implants; that itself puts a healthy, vibrant woman's life more at risk .. depends on what's important, though. Because for me I'm increasing my chances of getting cancer, too, by smoking pot.. but I've made that decision and I live with it because smoking pot and feeling easy in my skin is what makes my life bearable, right now. And I know that sometime in the future I might pay the price for that, and the price would be high. But my life, right now, in this time and place, is all I have. And I have to make that good. I think the two things can be comparable.
