How do I bond with my neice?

Hi everyone,
I don't have a lot of experience with children. I was the youngest child in my family. I haven't had children. I don't know many people who have small kids, and I don't work with kids. So you see, my knowledge of kids is pretty limited. I care about their well-being, but I don't crave having them in my life. Soon my 5 year old neice will be visiting. I really want to bond with her and have a relationship with her, but I don't really know how to do that. I'm sort of nervous about how this is going to go. I need some good advice here. I need to know how to establish trust and a good relationship.
