One more (mine always seem to be church related, LOL).

I was helping out with scheduling some things for our summer camps at church a few years back, so I needed our senior pastor's schedule.

I walk into his office (and he was a very quiet, shy type of man) and I said, " Do you have your sexual ready? I mean SCHEDULE, yeah SCHEDULE, sorry about that." He turned about 9 shades of red.

*****************************************

In February my husband and I did a tag team type preaching message in front of our entire church body on marriage.

My husband is speaking and I am sitting behind on the stage (mind you there are about 800 people staring at him and me).

He is telling them things we do to keep romance alive, and he says, " One thing we do often is have a date right there on the living room floor on a blanket." He was referring to how we often get some type of snacks, sparkling cider, put out a picnic blanket and when the kids' go to bed, we have candles lit and just have a date night in our living room.

However, the way he said it sounded a bit different. So people start snickering.. I turned red, and then somebody from the congregations grabs their bulletin they were using for a fan, runs up on stage and "fans me" with it it in front of everyone.

We have NEVER lived that one down to this day. When we left that church, one group of people bought us a nice, new picnic blanket that you can pack up. LOL
