oh, J, I'm so sorry. That's sad. But you did the right thing. It's just so sad that sometimes we HAVE to do that.
Once my cat brought in a bird. Its heart was beating rapidly and it was wretchedly broken, yet still alive. We had to kill it because it was so horribly mangled. But I felt sick and weak and sad about doing it. It was the right thing and the wrong thing all at once. I wanted to cry.
I don't cry for Iraq, but I cry for a broken bird. Why is that???
