I took your advice and went to the BofA, but they said the notary was available for bank business only :-(

I think I'll go to my husband's office in the Financial District. There's one there.

> Otherwise, the Kinko's at Stonestown certainly has one, although I think they don't have one for every shift. It's worth calling first. And, if you do go to Stonestown, you can stop in to Williams-Sonoma, or to Pottery Barn, or even go to the Joyous NORDSTROM! Just think of all the windows you can shop for!

Shopping doesn't do it for me too much anymore, although I'm starting to buy sewing patterns again. I just got one for 5-panel boxers (for men). A good way to clear out the fabric stash. I want to make them right away, but I'm going to be disciplined and make myself a pair of pants, if possible, first. I need pants. Fitting is the hard part. And I'm still working on the salwar kameez for my friend. Folkwear patterns are little flaky, I think. I'm glad I'm making one up in muslin.

Here's a picture of what I'm making:

I'm making the tunic, and I'll be fiddling with the pants so they are not so wide but still have the drape around the ankle.

I.
