No offense intended to you or your kids...I guess there's a funny aspect, though I have a really hard time finding it.... perhaps for kids (depending on age) it would just be *neat* as it's like a fantasy, something you'd imagine or draw but could never be real, and yet it is?
But overall, it seems pretty awful to me.
Totally unnatural and unnecessary.
Why do we use technology for stuff like this? It's not always alright to do things just because we can.
