I've used mascara a couple of times...it doesn't work for me. My eyelashes are short and point downwards. Whenever I blink the upper eyelashes stick to the lower eyelashes when I wear mascara. Sometimes I end up with a dark shadow under my eye from the mascara.

There's a episode on Star Trek Voyager that's about an alien race that does just that...they are born old and get younger and younger as they age...both physically and psychologically. :-) The crew was confused about why the adults of this race where sending their "children" off to die on some planet.
